Former teacher and professor. I taught for over 10 years ranging from 1st grade to 12th grade, to the university level. I taught multiple subjects, tutored for standardized tests, and worked with students that had learning disabilites. I worked in the classroom and in a virtual setting, so I am prepared for today's challenges with online learning!
I love working with students of all ages and overcoming any learning challenges. Each student has a different learning strategy and it is the tutors job to learn that method and help them. Learning can be fun and even with the virtual school environment of today, we can be successful if we are prepared and organized!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Contact the student and the parents, review with them to see how they like to learn and then set up a plan. Each student is different and each program needs to be developed around the needs of the individual.
