I am current MD candidate who has a background in science education. I provide very individualized tutoring for each student, and my background allows me to work with students of any age (K-12, college, etc.) I also provide academic counseling to help students with their college and career goals.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Prior to tutoring, I like to have consultations with students via phone or Skype to identify their learning needs and expectations. Then, I tailor my teaching style to what may work best for each particular student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Emory University, and I am currently in medical school to be a physician. I also taught middle and high school biology and was curriculum writer for Teach for America.
