About
I've been doing creative writing since my early adolescence. My first semester of college, I had my essay published in a textbook. I was also the treasurer of the creative writing club. In addition, I became a member of the National Society for Leadership and Success and the National English Honors Society. My education was humanities based, with a lot of focus on writing and literature. In 2018, I graduated with a BA in writing, having made the Dean's List 3 times. A year later, I published a young adult novel, doing freelance work in the meantime.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before each session, I see if I can get any material the student needs to work on and review it. Otherwise, I find age-appropriate material and send it to the student. I also get to know the student so that I can tailor the sessions to them and they can have fun learning.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Writing from Georgia Southern with a minor in History. My education was humanities-based, consisting of mostly literature analysis. I've also spent two summers working at a summer camp for rising kindergarteners-5th graders.
