What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical proccess is asking what exactly you need help with and to give me backgoround information on your study habits. I would like to know whether you're a visual or auditory learner.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my high school diploma. I graduated with honors and college credit in AP Literature. I was vice president in student council and was apart of clubs like BETA and National Honor Society
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My pricing would be $20 an hour depending on what type of help is needed.
How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching when my friends would ask me to help peer edit their college essays. I gave them more insight then they thought was needed which helped them pass with flying colors.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have mainly worked with college and high school students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently my primary job has been collectiong blankets to give to senior living homes and in return a free tall coffee is given back
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My adive would be to take a chance, you never know what help you might receive. It will always be a life lesson.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should think about if they absolutely need a tutor or someone to do the work for them. This is about learning not an easy route out. Students should also ask themselves if they have the means to get a tutor.
