What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student I begin with a per assessment to determine a students understanding of standards for their grade level. Prior to the assessment I establish a relationship with the student to find interest.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am in my fifth year as an elementary teacher. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade
How did you get started teaching?
When starting teaching I ensure I go over the learning objective as well as vocabulary.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with general as well as special Ed students in grades 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th.
