I am currently in the education field as a paraprofessional working on being certified in the next few years. I have a passion in math and social studies/language arts. I come up with fun ways to explain each concept.

I take the time to understand each student, and tailor my instruction specifically for them. I take pride in my ability to personally connect with each student in order to achieve their goals. Quite simply, I enjoy working with students. I also enjoy seeing students excel in their learning and achieve personal growth.

I work with all students providing educational services for both the parent and student. As a parent of a special needs student who is served on both ends of special education: gifted and special needs, I have learned strategies that have assisted me in allowing my students to excel in the classroom and state testing. I have been teaching for 24 years. Certified in Language Arts, reading, gifted, ESOL, and social sciences.
