Mr. P
About
I'm a former high school mathematics teacher with a passion for helping students build confidence, improve grades, and reach their full academic potential.
My background is unique. In addition to teaching mathematics, I hold an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech. I've spent more than 25 years leading strategy, analytics, and product development for Fortune 500 companies, where solving complex problems and communicating difficult concepts clearly were essential every day.
When students work with me, they receive far more than homework help. Every session is personalized to their learning style, strengths, and goals. I focus on helping students truly understand the material, think critically, develop effective study habits, and gain the confidence to succeed independently.
I work with middle school and high school students in Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, SAT/ACT Math, study skills, organization, and college readiness. Whether a student is struggling to keep up, looking to improve grades, or preparing for advanced coursework, my goal is to help them become more capable, confident learners.
I believe every student can succeed with the right instruction, encouragement, and strategy. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a student go from saying, "I don't get it," to "I can do this."
