Tutoring excellence is my life-long passion. Excellence includes making study both interesting and easier. My students advance amazingly if they make effort. As a Master of Science Degree teacher with California State Teaching Credentials, I try to discover and remediate each student's blocks to progress by using appropriate creative strategies.

I teach primary grades to high school and university. I tutor language, arts, sciences, and social studies for primary and middle school and, for high school and university, I teach English writing, including compositions and term papers for any subject. I try to inspire the student by integrating practical applications and arts into the confines of the area of study; this integrative approach is my expertise.

Ms. Suzi is very organized with what the kids are working on and what she is going to cover with them next. She is very patient with the younger two children and able to adjust the material to their level. She has been tutoring my older child with college level classes, and we have noticed a huge improvement on his grammar, writing skills and comprehension of what he is reading. She has also been helping my older son with SAT preparation. With her help he has improved his scores when doing practice tests. We are very happy with her performance and her approach/philosophy to learning.

Suzi loves to teach, and she is very good at it, as well as being very personable, She has a lot of training in natural healing, and I learned a great deal from her about this. Included in what I learned was information about plants, herbal medicines, and cooking for health. I also enjoyed learning some Spanish from her. I have a Masters Degree in Education (curriculum and instruction) as well as California Teaching Credentials to teach all subjects for primary through high school.
$55. per hour is my price. To achieve maximum progress, most students study a minimum of two times a week. I charge as a very experienced and successful tutor/teacher with a Master of Science in Education degree.
I first taught English, European history, and African geography to Lebanese students and tutored individuals in ESL. I chose this profession because I was a non-Arabic foreigner with few options. I slowly gained confidence in tutoring as my language students excelled.
All ages and many different nationalities and cultures.
One of my students, for whom I tutored several years from about age 10, is graduating from university at the age of 17!
Investing in a good teacher is better than investing in stocks because a proper education means mining and shining the gems of inestimable value that lie hidden within each student, so that she or he will shine academically and affect the world positively.
