Happy to help! I’m Allen, a sophomore at Emory University with a 4.0 GPA . I have a 1550/1600 SAT (760-790), a perfect 36/36 ACT, and a 1510/1520 PSAT (750-760, selection index 226, National Merit Finalist/Scholarship Recipient).
Many tutoring companies want you to pay exorbitant rates ($100-200 is common nowadays) Just for them to hire someone for $20-35/hour and pocket the difference. How do I know? I’ve been recruited by several of these companies in the past year, they offered to pay me $40/hour while they would charge my clients parents around $200/hour! I turned it down because I want to offer my services at a fair rate while establishing a personal 1 on 1 connection to all my clients while improving their scores.
My methods include discovering and targeting weaknesses, forming study plans proven to work, assigning specialized problem sets, and teaching tips and tricks to circumvent the tricky tests.
