About
Hello, my name is Josh and I am 23 years old. I am a recent University of Georgia graduate with a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Mathematics. After I graduated in Spring 2019, I immediately began working for a SAT/ACT prep company and loved working with aspiring students. My services include all math and science subjects related to both the ACT and the SAT, as well as all math leading up to pre-calculus. I also tutor Biology, Chemistry, and some Physics. I have always enjoyed problem solving and helping others. I hope I can continue to do this and expand my network of students so that I can continue to tutor full-time!
I was a recent college student, so I understand how important a good tutor can be in helping someone to do well in school. Even though I did well in my classes, I frequented the library and almost always scheduled tutoring sessions. I also grew up the son of a math teacher, and now a SAT/ACT tutor. I have always helped out with tutoirng at her company and working with students was always enjoyable because I can relate to them and offer a different perspective than a traditional tutor would be able to.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I enjoy helping students achieve their goals. In order to do this, I encourage them to write their goals down, whether that be a specific score they wish to achieve or a certain amount of information they wish to learn. I always keep the students goals realistic and help them as best I can. I offer help and guidance, but ultimately I am here to aid the student however they want.
