What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to begin with an introductory meeting with student (and parent if highschool or younger) to get to know each other and discuss general and specific goals. Then, If it's a good fit, plan tutoring schedule going forward.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and a Master's degree in Business Administration with an Entrepreneurship focus from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

As I am new to tutoring I am still working out my price structure.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always desired to mentor an interest in math, science, and engineering, and as I have begun the process to work towards a PhD in engineering, the time is right to begin giving back to the next generation of inventors and scientists.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have spent a little time in the past teaching family members and children of friends math and science, but have no official teaching experience.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I have been very excited to see the early stages and recent momentum that the electric vehicle market has begun to build.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It is always important to make sure that the student teacher relationship is a good fit and it is always good when your teacher has practical experience using the subject you are studying because it helps give more meaning to what you are learning.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about both the general and specific goals you are hoping to achieve. Consider both your school work and more importantly your life and future interests.
