Many math tutors seems to force kids to memorize math and not really understand. I've seen many different methods and styles of teaching but many seem to don't understand that math skills are developed through understanding concepts and recognizing patterns. Math is to understand, not to memorize. I teach math through a natural and comprehensible approach designed to spark innovation and develop a mathematical intution. Through this approach, I can cultivate strength considered "ahead of most kids" in math at a young age.

Each kids are different and these differences make teaching a unique challenge. Understanding each kid's weakness and strength and helping them become proficient in math is rewarding. In addition, helping kids stay motivated even when math gets harder to understand and learn is also enjoyable.

He is great at working with kids, and I was surprised to learn how much my 6 year old son has gotten at math.
