I'm excited about helping students learn. I work with students where they are and help build a bridge to where they need to grow. I teach middle school Science & Mathematics, basic to advanced and Study Skills Strategies. Hire me today so we can get started! What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask about their immediate goal and what they hope to gain with their tutoring sessions. I access what level they're at, how they learn and move forward from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in science and math and have over 18 years experience tutoring and teaching.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard rate is $45/hr, but, it can be broken down to 30 or 45 minute sessions for younger students.
I also offer a package deal for 5 lessons for $200 or 10 lessons for $395.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always loved math and never realized that so many people don't so I become a teacher to help others "get" math.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with kindergarten students all the way up adult learners.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Relax...This will get better and become easier soon. You can do this!
