Mr. Kuykendall is highly qualified and personable. This was not only evident during our initial conversation, when I was describing my son’s needs and my expectations, it was 100% confirmed upon the completion of our first tutoring session. First, I was so impressed with Mr. Kuykendall’s flexibility with accommodating my son’s school and athletic schedule. He offered times and options that were beyond the traditional work days/hours. I felt that he truly cared and was going to make sure he was available to meet with my son. Second, his knowledge of the subject coupled with his friendly personality captured my son’s interest in the subject from the first session. Mr. Kuykendall has my son engaged and confident by the end of the first session. With just the first session, my son scored 30 points higher on his retest! And yes, this time he passed! Proof is definitely in the pudding!
With each session with Mr. Kuykendall, my son consistently demonstrates knowledge of the material, confidence in his study skills, and huge improvement with his Chemistry grade.

    Frequently asked questions

When starting new tutoring sessions, I like to listen to a student’s current status in their course and discuss any current goals or ambitions for succeeding in chemistry.  We can then begin to discuss current curriculum challenges and devise a plan to improve their understanding and ultimate mastery of learning objectives.
