Hi! My name is Henry, and I’m a passionate and patient tutor with over 4 years of experience helping K–12 students grow in both confidence and academic performance. I strongly believe that every student can improve significantly from their current level with the right guidance, encouragement, and teaching approach.

I specialize in Chinese (Mandarin), math up to Algebra 1, creative writing, and SAT Math, and I also offer college application and essay reviews. My tutoring style focuses on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps while adapting to each student’s learning style. I’m known for being patient, supportive, and effective—especially with students who may feel stuck or discouraged.

Academically, I was accepted into the University of Michigan (UMICH), University of Georgia (UGA), Georgia Tech (GT), Pratt Institute, and SCAD. Ultimately, I chose to pursue my passion for aviation and enrolled in pilot school, a decision that reflects my commitment to following purpose-driven goals—something I also encourage in my students.
