About
Each student’s success is a priority. My belief is that every student can learn once his/her learning style/s is determined. My teaching style shifts to target the learning style of individual student, as differentiated instruction is a focus of Progress Tutoring Service. I am a licensed educator in the state of Georgia. I have taught in Public Schools for over 30 years. I am also the author of Children’s books.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically would want to know more about the student, tell him or her a little bit about my professional background as it relates to that student. Then I give assessments in subject areas to determine the student’s ability. This helps with deciding where to begin working with the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Georgia certified teacher and have worked with diverse age groups and populations for over 30 years in public schools. I have received countless professional development courses throughout the years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Special/General Education from the University of Wisconsin, Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix, and currently have All but Dissertation in Doctoral courses in Educational Leadership.
