My name is Tasha and I am Deaf/Hard of hearing. ASL is my second language and I use it daily to communicate with my friends, family, and co-workers. Currently, I teach ASL and Deaf education classes to Seniors who are experiencing hearing loss in Washington DC. I have many years of experience with providing private ASL lessons as well as teaching/tutoring individuals in various subjects utilizing ASL.
I am available to teach/tutor anyone starting from birth.
I am a Gallaudet University Alumni who is culturally Deaf and hard of hearing. I have taught various classroom subjects in ASL as a substitute teacher. In addition, I have taught ASL as a private tutor.
I have over 5 years of experience working with individuals with hearing loss. I have experience with providing all necessary accommodations as well as adapted coursework to ensure that my clients can understand the subject matter at hand.
