Amber Floyd Professional Writing And English Literature Tutoring
About
I received a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Professional Writing in 2006 from Columbus State University. While I was a student, I worked as a writing center counselor and helped students through the entire writing process, from document planning to grammar correction and content development to citing sources and properly setting up works cited pages. I have worked independently as an assistant editor to a local medical journal. I am also working diligently to form a Writer's Circle for the mutual development of fiction and nonfiction writers in the Columbus area. I would love to put this experience to use to help you appreciate English literature and improve your writing skills.
I love helping people develop ideas and see them blossom as writers. It is a blessing to be able to use my education and experience to help others become more confident writers. Writing doesn't have to be a solitary experience. It's the opportunity to share and discuss multiple views and interpretations. I love discussing literature and the opportunity to see a literary piece from a new perspective.
