About

I strongly believe that all students are individuals and that oftentimes they learn differently, which is why I believe in differentiation of instruction. Many tutoring companies offer programs that are made to fit the needs of all students, while this idea is good in theory, oftentimes this method fails to see students' blindsides and doesn't fully meet their learning needs. This is why I believed in individualized education plans and why I implement this practice. Whether your student is seeking to fill a gap in learning, studying for a major test, or in need of home-work help- I'm confident my tutoring skills will meet your students' learning needs and take them above and beyond what they thought they were capable of.

I enjoy helping my students succeed and helping them see their full potential. :)

    Frequently asked questions

If the new student is younger, I like to talk with their parent(s) first to debrief what skills they are wanting their child to gain, what their child is struggling in, and what their child's strengths are. From there I create an individualized learning plan to best meet the needs of the student. If the student is older, I will talk to them about the same things I would have discussed with the parents of a younger student.

I have experience working with Student-Athletes at Auburn University in Human Anatomy I and II, Biomechanics, English-Literature, Algebra, Geometry, Biology, and History.

I have experience working with English Korean students. Specifically, I privately tutored two boys in 3rd and 8th grade in all of their school subjects.

I have experience working with VIPKid in an online format.

I have experience working with Sylvan Learning Center, where I worked with up to 4 students at a time in various subjects.

Overall I have 3+ years of tutoring experience.

I charge $30 for a 60-minute tutoring session. If a student desires to meet for 8 consecutive weekly sessions, the overall price drops to $25 a session. If a student desires to meet for 12 consecutive weekly sessions, the price drops to $22 per session.

I have always had a passion for teaching. The right doors opened up and lead me to where I am at today, pursuing a Master's Degree in Education. I have been teaching since I was 15 years of age; I had the privilege of teaching children how to swim for 6 years. My passion for teaching students how to swim then translated into the classroom setting.

I have worked with student-athletes, English language learners, and students ranging from grades k-12.
