I have worked at the schools my children attended for 20 years as a teachers aide. I taught in the regular classrooms as well as the special needs classroom. I am now a grandma but still enjoy seeing the faces light up when the children learn what they needed to. I also raised 2 special kids so my patience are endless. I attended college to teach special education. I attended Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, IA . I have an Associates degree.

I am a graduate of Augusta University and received my Bachelor of Science in Special Education with a focus on learning disabilities. I have over 33 years of experience in general and special education, grades 3-8. My tutoring philosophy is to teach the student to his or her strength and learning style. I take time to get to know the student, and build a rapport. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Reading,Math and History.
