About
Hi! First, let me introduce myself. My name is Kimora White. I am a seventeen year old highschool graduate, graduating in 2022. I graduated a year-early in the top 10% of my class and I have a passion for literature, specifically creative writing. I am a member of National Honors Society and National Beta Society, I have recieved the Presidental Award for Educational Excellence, and I am a published poet. I have taken multiple independent classes in creative writing and a "Writing Fiction & Poetry" class at the University of Tennessee.
I love helping students develop a passion for literature and writing. Being a recent highschool graduate I am familar with topics currently being discussed in classrooms. I am attentive, respectful, and want to do more than tutor. In a world where it is easy to feel confused I want to help them understand and enjoy what they are learning.
I enjoy connecting through students. Whether it is a certain book we have both read or a topic we like to write about I love having the ability to connect with them in a way others cannot. When reading someone's writing you develop a bond with them. Writing can be theraupitic and many students express themselves in writing. I love learning about others through that medium.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step I like to take with working with new students is getting to know each other. As an introvert myself I understand that meeting new people can be hard, especially if they might have to critique me. While meeting I will tell them about myself and let them ask questions. Then we will begin a starter exercise, making sure they don't feel left out in the process.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
As I am a recent highschool graduate my standard pricing is $20 per hour.
