I first assess the current level of the student and know which level the student wants to reach and then teach the student in the simplest way possible.

I have worked at the schools my children attended for 20 years as a teachers aide. I taught in the regular classrooms as well as the special needs classroom. I am now a grandma but still enjoy seeing the faces light up when the children learn what they needed to. I also raised 2 special kids so my patience are endless. I attended college to teach special education. I attended Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, IA . I have an Associates degree.

I want to help educate students to reach their dreams and help them get there. I teach students how to learn the basic study skills and how to break down the equation. I got my BA in Special Education and thereafter I taught 6 homeschool children (PreK to 12th). Children have the ability to learn. Sometime you just need to show them the course around the obstacles.

I have been working as an engineer for 3 years and I am looking to maintain my passion for math and science through tutoring. I have a bachelors degree in chemical engineering from Virginia Tech and I have 3 years of experience as a volunteer tutor in high school and college.
