Hi, welcome to my page, my name is Julia, but I go by Santana, (my last name). My family comes from Brazil, so my first language is Portuguese, but I am completely fluent in English and Spanish as well. I am eighteen, just graduated high school, class of 2020!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first few steps would be to ask the student a few questions about themselves, and let them ask me questions as well so they are comfortable. Then I would go ahead and get started, see what they need the most help with in that subject.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a native (Brazilian) Portuguese and (American) English speaker, and I have taken five years of Spanish classes.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should evaluate what they really struggle with in the subject, and maybe create a list of specific questions they can ask to better understand it.
