Carlos Online Spanish Tutoring
About
I have just started trying to earn some side money with my C2 Cambridge Qualification, however an Idea came to me, The Englisht teaching buissness is pretty full in Spain at the moment, So I might aswell try and teach some Spanish to the English speaking people of the world.
My services can be a bit varied (If you wish to just practise speaking for a trip or actually learn some spanish, I am fine with both) and should you need a long term progress plan (IE you actually want to learn Spanish from 0 to fluent speaker) I can purschase books and other material and set up a long term plan for you.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I set up a trial lesson, find out what your level is with a bit of conversation, then after we set up an objective and on a progression path (wether you wish to learn with a book and exercises or just via talking, depends on what your emphasis is) Then after assesing what is your need and what is your level I will prepare a lesson for the next class (Wether it be a list of topics for conversation, or a few lessons to get started with)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've got training when it comes to teaching English (a C2 qualification and a bunch of expirience when it comes to teaching English as a private tutor) and I am also a studying translation and Interpretation at the VIU (International University of Valencia)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I tend to adapt more to the needs of my student, however I tend to prioritice speaking practise and a focus on verbal and basic structure first (IE I focus on you getting the present and basic past first, and then I get into vocabulary and the more in depth thing of the language)
How did you get started teaching?
Started when I was 18, wanted to earn some money and the kid of one of my mother's friends needed some help with his english homework, thus I began teaching english
What types of students have you worked with?
Everything from kids to 30 year old folk that needed some quick lessons for an exam. I don't discriminate on age and tend to adapt to my students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I have been helping a Ukranian copule that have moved near me when it comes to learning English and Spanish. Alex, the one I talked with first, works in the IT sector and needed some help with his english for an interview, and his wife needed some help with Spanish for her new clients, It felt great to be of aid now specially in such dire times for them
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Private tutor quality is all over the place, so set up a trial lesson to see if you like them first before agreeing to any long term plans.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is my long term objective? Am I willing to commit to lerning a new language or is this just a spur of the moment thing?
