We offer tutoring services for special needs and mainstream students K-12. Specializing in serving students on the autism spectrum, and in test preparation.
I am a teacher with 10 years of experience in classrooms across the K-12 curriculum. As the parent of a special needs child, I have developed a keen interest in helping this population to succeed in academics as well as in life. I have worked in Rockdale, Newton and Dekalb Counties, and have certifications in ELA and Social Studies, as well as in Special Education.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I am contacted for a tutoring appointment, I like to find out about their strengths and needs. Often a difficulty in one subject can be a difficulty in other areas. I believe that all subjects are connected, and help in one area can aid in others at the same time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA from the University of South Carolina and have been an M Ed candidate at Columbus State University. In addition I have worked in public schools for 10 years.
