I had hope but no expectations when I decided to hire a tutor to help me prepare for my LSAT. I had taken the test in the past and even with intense study sessions, practice exams and many other tools I received the worst score I had ever gotten. I really wasnt sure how a tutor could help me at this point but was willing to try.

I was matched with Tynisha and immediately she started to help me fill the holes that I didnt even realize I had with my studying. She was kind, patient and brought things to my attention that I dont think I ever would have noticed without her. She was my cheerleader when I really needed one. How did you get started teaching?

I began 15 years ago. I have always loved learning and that translated into teaching. I have tutored and taught on all levels - children to the adult learners.

I have tutored within several companies as an independent contractor but I enjoy tutoring on my own.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I am fond of the fact that I have been able to go virtual as a tutor and I still am able to maintain a great relationship with my students. Even with the medium of technology, I am still able to make them feel like they can take on the world!
