Advanced Computer Science Tutoring
About
I have lots of tutoring experience from HS from many different honor societies, teaching both math and science for 20-30 hours a year. In college, I was a project manager where I was able to lead/teach a team of students the presentation decking and strategizing. Most recently I have been tutoring students in CS online for about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of experience identifying student weaknesses and how best for an individual to learn. The only thing I think that's important to learn is motivation! If you're motivated, I would be so happy to help you along your journey in Computer Science.
Offering computer science tutoring services on specific subjects/homework of your choice ($45):
Languages Include --> Python, Java, HTML/CSS, C, C++, Lua, Scratch
Concepts Include --> Structure and interpretation of computer programs, data structures, object-oriented programming, discrete math and graph theory (related to CS), advanced algorithms and intractable problems (Linear programming, Divide and Conquer), Artificial Intelligence
Offering computer science teaching services on my own pre-set courses (I teach you material from my previous classes/courses): $45/hour
Courses Include:
Ages 16+
1. Artificial Intelligence with Python (Very difficult)
2. Advanced Algorithm Concepts (Linear Programming, Divide and Conqueror, Zero Network Flow, Zero Sum Games) (Very Difficult)
3. Advanced Programming with Python
4. Advanced Programming with Java
Ages 13+:
1. Basic Programming with Python
2. Advanced Programming with Python (Only if you have experience programming with Python)
3. Basic Programming with Java
4. Advanced Programming with Java (Only if you have experience programming with Java)
5. CS Theory and Discrete Mathematics
Ages 12+
1. Basic Programming with Lua
2. Basic Programming with Lua on a game of choice
3. Basic HTML/CSS Programming
Ages 8+
1. Programming with Scratch
2. Basic coding concepts (Very brief and basic course)
For most courses, I would recommend at least 5 hours to get a good amount out of the course, but most courses are longer if we want to complete the course. How long a course also depends on how fast you are able to learn!
Look forward to being in contact soon!
