What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Try to get them confortable around me,try to determine their core concepts on the subject and work on the same level as they are in.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Completed education until High School, Currently going for a Bachelors. Acquired special training during middle school, allowing me to quickly do mental calculations
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My prices range from 5$-100$ depending on the topic and assignment. For example if it is a regular homework assignment they need help with, then it will be from 5$-30$ depending on the assignment. And if it is an essay, the prices will be 30$+
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when a few friends of mine couldn't understand the topic and they came to me asking for help. I taught them the problem and they encouraged me to start teaching. I have been teaching since.
What types of students have you worked with?
Middle School, High School, Associates and students still in bachelor's degree
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I really loved watching the DOTA 2 Ti 10 Finals for Team Spirit and PSG.LGD. Both of them played wonderfully.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I'd say to take your time and see if your aptitudes match with the teacher, and if they do, then the learning style and teaching style should be matching. The teacher should be polite and not hasty about anything.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think there should be no questions about whether to ask the teacher or not. The student should be open up front and should explain all the problems they're having or about anything they need.
