About
As an undergraduate currently pursuing Neuroscience degree (also minor in Psychology) at Georgia Institute of Technology with 4 years of previous math teaching experience, Math for many people is a hobby, they love to do math and like to challenge themselves. However, there are also many individuals who will find numbers, graphs, or basic concepts in general very intimidating. I have worked with a wide range of ages, from kindergarten to college students. I get to know each individual as well as get to know their personal goals. It hurts to admit that regardless of the educational path you choose, they all require a certain background in math skills or better. And yes, Math can be difficult, it can also be tricky, but it's not impossible to solve. My teaching method focuses 75% on practice problems and 25% on conceptual foundation, with weekly evaluation quizzes. In addition, I also want to optimize each individual's communication and organization skill during the lessons, forming the neccessary habits in the future. However, I welcome parent feedback, thus I will change my approach accordingly based on parent goals.
