About
My name is Ronnie, and I have a PhD in Neuroscience and Bioinformatics at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I've been teaching and tutoring since 2010, and I've loved every moment of it. I love getting to know my students personally so that I can break down the material in ways tailored to their interests and hobbies.
I graduated from Brown University in 2015 with a BS in Neuroscience and also tutored in college. At Brown, I was a teaching assistant for the introductory biology and neuroscience courses, and I tutored on the side for about 20-25 hours per week, even though I was not required to. Tutoring is my passion, and it's about more than money. I was so effective as a teaching assistant that I became the first undergraduate in Brown's 250-year history to receive the Teaching and Advising Award, which had always been given to faculty.
I love forming meaningful connections and often lifelong bonds with students I would have never met if they hadn't contacted me. I truly enjoy mentoring students, and if I can make one significant difference in someone's life, that is enough for me. I hope you will consider giving my tutoring services a chance, and I look forward to being of service.
