About
The best thing about math is the many different ways you can navigate the process of a problem and still get the correct answer, hence "Ambiguous Math Tutoring". Math is my favorite subject because there's a lot of fun ways to teach it, and if you struggle with it, it is only because your teacher/instructor has not found a cool way to teach you. I will help you see math in a different light, so you can start to make better grades in the subject. That is what it is all about!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process is learning the process the student normally takes, understanding why they struggle with the problems, show them a good way to correct their problem. After correcting the problem, I implement similar problems for repetition to ingrain in their memory.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an M.S. in Sports Administration, and my highest completion level of math was Calculus II while receiving my B.B.A. in Business Management.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching by helping my younger cousins with their math homework.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from elementary, middle, and high school.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My younger cousin who was in the 9th grade was struggling in math, and I help her bring her grades up by showing her different steps to doing her problems. She found the way I taught her easier to remember and was able to continue with her progress. Her grade went from 65, to and 82.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the tutor understands what the subject and level of the subject are specifically. If it is Calculus I, let the tutor know that specifically. Also, make sure the tutor has patience.
