I plan lessons for each student so that we will focus on their goals. No lesson is ever the same. In addition, I'm always open to feedback from students and have created lessons around material they've wanted to focus on.
Another thing I like to do is record lessons. I believe this helps students learn from their mistakes and also see their overall progress. In between lessons, I have used Google Classroom to give students writing and speaking practice.
One of my favorite things about being an online English tutor is that I get to meet people from around the world. I enjoy learning about where students come from and how improving their English will help them.
The thing I love the most is how excited a student gets after realizing that they've been speaking for a long time without me stopping them to correct a mistake.
Danielle is one of the best teachers I have been learning with. She has a great method she is willing to share with her students. With her help I improved my language, grammatical and expression skills dramatically. On top of that, she's very nice and friendly. You'll never regret spending your time with her, trust me ;)
My experience of learning English with Danielle more than a half a year. I chose Danielle because she always well prepared and has a huge area of interests, what helps to cover wide range variable topics. She always carefully picking it up according my interest and exudes enthusiasm during our learning session. Earlier I always tackle with pronunciation and misusing of words, but with her support and deeply explanation my language acquisition is growing up!
I like to do a free 15-minute consultation before working with a new student. The consultation helps me learn why the student wants to take English lessons and what they'd like to improve. I also use the time to get an idea of the students' level.
Before the end of the consultation, I will explain the material I'd like to use and how I'll send it to a student before their first lesson.
In 2016, I received a TEFL certificate. Not long after getting the certificate, I moved to South Korea and worked as a native English teacher with middle school and high school students for 2 years. My lessons focused on conversation and helping the students improve their speaking skills. I have been tutoring English learners online since leaving South Korea in 2018.
I charge $45 an hour. Students may pay monthly or before each lesson.
Group lessons are also available. The group size should not be more than 4 people.
I work with college students and adults. My current and past students are from all over the world and I've helped them improve their conversation skills and business English. I've also worked with students who needed to prepare for an interview and others who wanted to work on their presentation skills.
Students should think about why they want to take lessons and what they want to improve. They should also think about how many lessons they'll be able to take each week and how much time they'll have to study between lessons.
