I enjoy seeing students learn, grow, and develop. I am excited when students learn new knowledge and skills. I get satisfaction teaching phonics, reading, and writing to elementary age children and preschool.
I enjoy watching students learn literacy skills. I enjoy seeing students overcome academic challenges and learn to succeed in developing lifelong skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I would like to talk to parents on the phone about what subjects the child needs help with and what their learning goals are. I would like to know what level the child is learning at and what the parent hopes to gain by the tutoring process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's degree and specialist degree in early childhood education. I have taught 15 years and have experience tutoring at Huntington and God chosen development center.
