About
I’m about to graduate with a BA in English Literature and I absolutely love talking about books and helping people analyze them. I also have a minor in Education and I’m always excited to share the knowledge and joy for literature I have!
I proofread most of my friends' papers because I really enjoy seeing someone's great ideas and helping them express those ideas in the clearest and most effective way.
In addition to reading and writing, I can also help with mathematics from Pre-Algebra to Calculus. Although it’s not my life passion, I have always enjoyed helping others grasp different mathematical concepts.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I’ll first meet with the student to assess their needs and to make sure I can meet them in a way that is satisfying for the both of us! Once we figure out the best way to approach the student's particular needs, I make sure to get feedback on whether or not the methods I use are working to see if I need to adjust them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a minor in Education and a major in English Literature--I have unofficially tutored many classmates and helped them with their papers
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$45/session is my standard pricing and sessions usually last 45min to an hour. However, I am flexible both on the length and cost of sessions if this does not meet a student's particular needs.
How did you get started teaching?
I taught a young girl in my neighborhood piano when I was a teenager and that started me on the education path that I’m still on today!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with both people from primary school all the way up to undergrad.
