Wei patiently explains concepts and has you understand it inside-and-out. She enjoys teaching and her passion for the course is contagious.
She is the tutor out there! She is extremely knowledgeable about all the subjects she teaches (up to college level) and won't give up on you. She's is not going to go easy on you, as she challenges her students with the toughest problem she can think up. Unlike most other tutors, she writes her own questions in order to fits the chapter's information in a very comprehensive way. Her explanation is clear cut and easy to understand and if you ever get stuck, she goes over the concepts in question until you understand them. Most of all, she cares about her students and their performances. You can tell she really loves to teach!
Wei is an amazing guide. She is methodical and teaches concepts in a very intuitive way. I took classes from her for 3 months and would readily go back to her if I need help in the future.
I usually ask them what are they working in school, their previous performance at school and what are their goals for that specific subject. Most importantly I encourage them to point out what they are struggling with themselves. I would ask what they want to know more about. Then I would let them work on some questions in that particular area and kind of acess their level before coming into a tutoring plan.
