I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology and Cell Science in 2019 and Emory Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in 2020. I provide reliable private, personalized, and effective tutoring for all ages and will accomodate any needs. I currently work as a Cardiac ICU Nurse and love teaching others.

I was not doing well on my first two exams and started with Lauren for my third exam. I scored a 94 on the third exam and a high A on the 4th exam as well due to her help. The way she teaches you to look at things and process it in your head makes a world of difference in how you study for this class. Ive also been able to carry her studying strategies into my classes that I am currently in. Highly recommend her because she can simplify any subject and help you can understand. 10/10 recommend!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I will ask them how they learn best and will prepare notes, presentations, practice tests and anything that will help the student succeed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

My undergraduate degrees have prepared me and led me to be successful as a critical care nurse. I currently take courses to continue to enhance my knowledge on subjects within the healthcare field.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with students of all ages K-12 and beyond into higher education. I have also worked with students with mild learning disabilities such as ADHD.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Speak with the tutor before you have your first session with them to establish what your needs and goals are.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What do I want to accomplish? What do I need help with? What are barriers or obstacles preventing me from succeeding in school?
