Specifically, I have 1000+ hours of development and practice in Seeing Stars (fluency), Visializing & Verbalizing (comprehension), Talkies (verbal expression), and On Cloud 9 (Math). Whether your student needs serious remediation or academic enrichment, I will provide results.

Frequently asked questions

I begin by scheduling a consultation meeting with the parents and student. After discussing areas of weakness and evaluating several key areas of learning, I will make a recommendation for the amount of tutoring needed, as well as a tentative schedule.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Christian Education from Toccoa Falls College.

I am fully trained and certified with 1000+ hours of experience in the following Lindamood-Bell Programs: Seeing Stars, Visualizing & Verbalizing, and On Cloud 9.

My standard tutoring fee is $50 per hour. I offer discounts based on the total amount of tutoring needed, as well as individual financial needs of my students' families.

I began teaching as a Clinician/Tutor at a Lindamood-Bell Learning Center. I was quickly trained as a Learning Evaluation Tester, which led to becoming an instruction consultant (a planning and supervising role). I then assumed the role of Center Director where I was responsible for communication with families as well as the instructional quality of hundreds of students.

I have worked with students with a wide variety of challenges, including Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder, General Learning Disability in Reading, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Behavioral Disorders, and Down's Syndrome.

I recently received a copy of the report card for a former student who is now in 4th Grade. This student was a non-reader at the conclusion of 1st Grade. His parents and school were planning to retain him due to his illiteracy. Over the course of 6 weeks, I was able to get him reading at grade level. His latest report card shows him reading above grade level by 1 full year. He also loves school now!

Find someone with experience, compassion, patience, and proven results. I can provide all these qualities.

They should ask about the plan. Too often, tutors and teachers have only vague ideas of what a learning program will look like. I provide specific milestone goals, as well as a specific timeframe within which we plan to achieve those goals.
