LMNOP is great with students of all ages who want to learn to write better and/or to sing better!
Having had 20+ years of successful experience in the Writing & Editing industry, including coaching and mentoring students in a Corporate environment, I am adept at making learning fun and helping people overcome obstacles to write clearly and concisely I can help you write better essays, speeches, anything you need!
I also have 20+ years of experience performing with choirs (like the ATL Symphony Chorus) and singing/ coaching others for a variety of musical events. I am a great choice to help you find your voice as a singer, prepare for Allstate tryouts, and help you learn to sing any song!
My passion is helping people find their voice — their writing voice and/or their singing voice 🎵 ✏️

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meet with them in person or online (their preference) to establish relationship and assess their goals. Help them figure out three simple goals to achieve within the period of time they choose. Three months is a good start for some goals. Others can be achieved in three lessons.
Work with the student regularly (once a week is a good plan but I can accommodate the student’s needs if different).
Execute with goals in mind. Student will have a concise, straightforward curriculum to follow.
These things work well for both vocal and writing students. And I show students by example and teach by example and hands-on training. I can do this online, in person, or a combination of the two.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Voice:
-ATL Symphony Chorus Under Robert Shaw.
-Five years of Allstate Chorus
-Director if Youth Choir for Crabapple Baptist Church (not current but did this successfully for a musical performed a few years back)
-Singing for a variety of weddings and funerals
-Great w students of all ages!
WRITING:
-20+ years experience as a writer, editor, trainer, coach

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I am flexible. $25-$50 per hour is reasonable for tutoring either subject.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was six years old! I taught my friends to play piano for 25 cents a lesson. In middle school, I taught a couple friends to increase their skills in playing the flute. Also I taught baton and flute while in high school.
In college, I regularly helped my fellow students with their college essays. It paid off for them bigtime and gave me experience in helping people learn to write better.
Through my career, I have excelled at coaching writers to develop more meaningful, concise, easily digestible content.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students who are new to writing or singing, as well as people who do these thintga for a living. Everyone can continually improve, including me, and the zest for quality is important for us all to be our best.
