Mrs.Malins Tutoring

My name is Laura Malins, and I have taught for 17 years. I worked for 14 years as a 4th grade elementary school teacher and for the past 3 years I have worked as a Reading Interventionist at Driftwood Elementary. I have a master's in education; I am Reading Endorsed and trained in the SIPPS reading program. I enjoy working with students one on one or in small groups to help them reach their full potential and become confident readers. I focus on phonological awareness, phonics, fluency and comprehension. I will give an assessment at our first session which will help me place your child in correct starting point for them to become a confident reader as they work with me through the reading program.
