Wild Words Reading Tutoring
About
I believe a vital part of learning is building endurance and confidence in a child. I'm able to connect with my students, keep them engaged in a light-hearted environment, and incorporate PLAY into their learning, which is how children learn naturally.
As a former K-4 Librarian and K-8 Art teacher and administrator for the Diocese of Orlando, my goal is to EMPOWER students to explore the this wild world of ours through reading, the fundamental building block of life-long learning. An alumna of Louisiana State University, I earned a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, concentrating in Psychology, Business Administration, Anthropology, and Religious Studies. I am CPR certified, Safe Environment Trained, and have three years of professional teaching and administrative experience with the Diocese of Orlando.
Feel free to message and/or friend me on Facebook so we can establish a lasting partnership to help your student achieve his/her goals!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Louisiana State University, with concentrations in Psychology, Anthropology, Business Administration, and Religious Studies.
I have worked in the private school system for three years, operating as an Administration Assistant, Gr. 5 Religion Teacher, K-4 Librarian, and K-8 Art Teacher. I am CPR certified, finger-printed and background-checked, and Safe Environment Trained through the Diocese of Orlando.
