I was born and raised in France and I have focused on languages during my studies so I have a perfect understanding of the language. I also graduated from the University of South Florida on summer 2022 so I had time to improve my methods of teaching by tutoring other students and observing my amazing teachers.
I believe learning new languages is something extremely important for new students. Not only does it put you over the top and gives you more opportunities abroad ,it also helps improving memory, cognitive skills, concentration and learning skills. With me as your teacher, you will learn the language while having fun, and also get sensitized to my culture!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I like to assess my student's level by having basic conversations with them, increasing the level gradually. I will also make them write sentences to see where they are at on paper( french is a very hard language to write!). After my assessment, I will ask my student if he would like to focus on learning something in particular, and work on a learning plan that I present to them on the next meeting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although french is my first language, I have mastered the language by studying french literature. During our final tests, I had the best grade in my class on both the reading and writing parts. As far as teaching is concerned, my mother was a teacher and helped me build my first courses by using clear objectives and tailoring methods of learning to my students.
