Smart Starts

I am an elementary teacher at an English Spanish Immersion school experienced in teaching all subjects, including English as a Second Language. I earned my certification in Science of Reading from the University of San Diego because teaching reading is what I am passionate about. I am also a certified mindfulness facilitator and I use that knowledge to instill the 5 principles of social emotional learning to give students a solid set of skills to navigate effectively through the unexpected challenges of life. I am currently authoring several ebooks on preparing children for each grade from Kindergarten to grade 12 as a valuable resource for homeschoolers and classroom teachers alike.
