I am a recent graduate of Yale University where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Film. I have experience tutoring in English, writing, history, and ACT/SAT.
I am committed to providing my students with the best learning experience achievable. I strive to cater to their needs and challenge them to achieve their academic goals. My teaching philosophy is to meet each student where they are in each subject. This means learning about the student's goals, interests, strengths, and challenges. With an an understanding of the student’s learning style, I’m able to customize lesson plans accordingly.
I enjoy tutoring because I am passionate about the material and find it rewarding to hear about all the success that students have as a result of my help.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I have recieved test prep training, taken classes at Yale on writing, and tutored peers with their essays and creative writing for the last eight years.
