What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I get to know the student so we can build a positive relationship. Then, I talk to the student and/or parents about their goals for tutoring. I will ask many questions to get a good idea on how I can help. I will over my recommendations for sessions and how often they should occur. I will then make a plan on how to best utilize the time and help the student reach their goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received high grades and honors throughout my school years, including at the undergraduate level. I am a recent graduate who is going into a master's program that focuses on special education. I have tutored various subjects previously.
