About
As a graduate with a bachelors degree in environemntal studies and biology, I beleive it is of upmost importance to educate about the importance of science. I love to teach my passions and feel no greater joy than when a student recits a sceience fact or the name of a plant I have tought them!
I have lots of experience in the horticulture field working with organic farms, permaculture projects, and native plant nurseries.

Get to know the student first. I like to figure out how the student learns best and go from that point!

I have worked with children through educational summer camps. My jobs have also required me to do a lot of teaching to adults.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $30 an hour and $20 for a half hour. I believe education should be accesible to all people!

My mother is a teacher and watching her work inspired it within me!

Mostly younger students from around 5-10 but I enjoy working with older studentes as well!

For new years I traveled to a spring in Orlando, FL. There I did some ecology walks and identified botanical species. That is where my profile photo is from!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
It's ok if a match doesn't work. Find someone who can best cater to the way YOU learn.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Obviously make sure the teacher seemes like they respect your needs and are receptive to them. Always consult another party if you feel comfrotable with it as well!
