Michelle S. says, "As a fellow teacher and friend, I can say that Danielle is a stellar teacher. The way she demystifies complex issues is inspiring, not to mention her absolute love for everything science. I have never met another teacher who loved helping students explore the cool world of science like she does. If my kid needed a science tutor, Danielle would be my first call. No doubt!" Read more

As a current college student at St.Petersburg college, mostly all of k-12 material is relevant, and I have a pretty solid grasp on most topics. I am new to tutoring itself, but I am great with children as I used to babysit, and used to help them with their homework when they were stuck. I like to get to know students by their strengths and goals, and help them overcome the challenges. I can either help them be fast paced to get work done, or be slow and intensive to better understand topics deeper. I am willing to work with students and parents in any way they prefer Andy’s best for them.

Hello all! I am a graduate of Georgia Southern University and a current grad student at the University of Florida. I hold a B.S. in Chemistry and Masters in Pharmaceutical Science. During the week I am a chemist for a pharmaceutical company in the Tampa area, but I love learning and education! I love being able to make a difference whether it's helping a student pull their grades up or working in the laboratory on products.

I am a dedicated and hard worker. I graduated from the Illinois Mathematics and Science academy, where I was a peer tutor in math through calculus, science, and work as a tutor in the writing center. I am now a student at the University of South Florida. When I work with students, I pride myself in equipping everyone with the tools that they need to be successful on their own instead of just giving them answers. I have consistently tested very well in both Math and English and feel confident in my ability to transfer my knowledge to students. I love the moment that a student finally understands something that they have been struggling with. T...

I have just recently graduated from American Military University with a BS in Mathematics, and am currently attending Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering for a MS in Computational and Applied Mathematics. I enjoy helping students realize their potential when it comes to math. I don’t believe that any kid is “bad” at math, just not being taught in a way that makes sense to them. I have experience tutoring from first grade through high school. I have also taken up to differential equations and advanced statistics. I am comfortable teaching coding in R for statistics or analysis as well.

I found James after interviewing multiple tutors for my sons—one a high school senior, the other a college freshman—and he immediately stood out. Not only is James knowledgeable across multiple subjects, but he also genuinely cares about his students. Hiring James turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. My younger son attended a boarding sports academy and needed ACT prep. James was incredibly flexible, finding time within my son's packed schedule and managing to fit in numerous sessions. Throughout this intense and challenging process, James remained consistently positive, patient, and encouraging. My older son, a college freshman, faces his own set of challenges, including fairly profound ADHD. James supported him not only with academic subjects but also with organizational skills. James checked in weekly to help plan out his schedule, stay on track, and remain accountable. He built a strong rapport with both of my sons and developed personalized, thoughtful plans tailored to each of their needs. The Personal Professor's Academic Partner Program was critical to my sons' continued success. In the end, both of my sons benefited greatly from James’ mentorship and made tremendous academic progress. Furthermore, both of them are eager to continue working with James next year—a true testament to his effectiveness as both a tutor and a mentor.
