I am and have been a ceritified A.P. History teacher for 20 years serving the communities of Palm Beach and Broward counties faithfully and with pride.
Upon receiving my Masters degree in United States History I decided that my personality lent best towards articulating concepts in a way others could easily understand. It wasn't very long until my suspicions were proven accurate. As I grew as a teacher my responsibilities expanded. I was extremely well liked by my students, they having voted and bestowing " favorite teacher" awards 4 times. Eventually I was contracted to teach multiple subjects, not just Social Studies. English, Biology, Algebra, SAT prep. amongst others.
My recommendations and standing in the educational community is impeccable. I have been rated "highest standing" since Florida enacted the measure nearly 10 years ago.

My normal rate is $25 per hour.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start with a little chat, learn what the student likes and doesn't. What interests he/she may have. Goals/plans. A reading evaluation, silently then aloud. A writing evaluation, spelling, grammar, usage. I'll have a good understanding of how to approach the students needs.

Again, 20 years certified teaching A.P. coursework.
