I am a Texas Certified Teacher (Elementary and Middle School, Spanish High School) with 16 years of experience.
My sessions are designed to be interactive, dynamic and engaging with game-based learning, real life conversations, with activities tailored to the student's level and goals.
I develop a supportive, encouraging environment where mistakes help the student improve.
I enjoy helping my students achieve their goals! I love to witness and be part of their academic development and growth.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It all depends on the specifics need of a student. If the student needs help with an assignment or homework, I focus on that specific concept. If the student wants to improve in general, I like to give the student an informal assessment to focus my work on the weak areas.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an MBA in International Trade.
I have a Masters in Education, and I have a Texas Certification for Elementary and Middle School level and Spanish for High School.
I have taught for 16 years.
How did you get started teaching?
My school district needed a Bilingual Person to translate district forms.... I started visiting schools and the rest is history.

Elementary and Middle school, English Native speakers and Spanish native speakers.

Try to be open with your tutor, telling her/him how do you learn better. The tutor should adjust the teaching style to your learning preferences.
