Sunshine Literacy provides engaging, individualized, and fun reading and writing tutoring and intervention sessions to students in grades K-8th! We strive to grow your child's confidence and make them a successful reader!
Deanna Ferello, M.S. is a licensed speech language pathologist, reading specialist, and licensed special education teacher. Her extensive experience providing highly-customized and effective reading/writing tutoring and intervention services ensures students fill in the gaps in their reading performance and achieve reading success!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Every new student is given a comprehensive initial evaluation. This ensures his or her strengths and deficits are identified. From there, a customized plan is designed to work on the child's deficits and capitalize on their strengths!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Deanna has a Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is trained in various research-based reading and writing intervention programs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Each 50-minute group session is $60 and private 50-minute sessions are $85.
What types of students have you worked with?
Deanna worked as a teacher for 5 years in the public school system serving elementary school students with varying needs, including students with learning disabilties, dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, Autism, and other impairments.
