Hi everyone! My name is DD, and I’m so excited to work with you! I make learning fun, exciting, and meaningful because I know from experience just how tough school can be. I graduated at 17, so I remember what it’s like to be in elementary and middle school—feeling overwhelmed at times, but also wanting to do well and understand things clearly.

Over the past 3+ years, I’ve had the chance to work with many amazing kids, and I’ve learned how to make learning feel less stressful and way more enjoyable. I’ve become an expert at helping students with reading and math—two subjects that can feel really hard at first but become a lot easier when taught the right way. When it comes to reading, I’ll show you how to bring stories to life using expression, emotion, and rhythm—not just reading the words on the page. And in math, I’ll help you understand each step in a way that makes sense and builds your confidence.

I use fun and effective strategies like color-coding vocabulary, using visuals, hands-on practice, and breaking things into simple, manageable steps. No question is ever too small, and I’ll always take the time to make sure you feel supported and encouraged.

Learning with me means learning in a safe space where you can be yourself, make mistakes, and grow at your own pace. My goal is to help you feel proud of your progress and excited to keep going.
